I’ve come back to this article so many times that I thought I would perform a speedy share here and let you all in on a brilliant little secret. It’s the Guardians Ten Rules for Writing fiction.
Usually I avoid writing articles and ‘How-To’s’, but this one has so many gems It is actually helpful.
Elmore Leonard, Diana Athill, Margaret Atwood, Roddy Doyle, Helen Dunmore, Geoff Dyer, Anne Enright, Richard Ford, Jonathan Franzen, Esther Freud, Neil Gaiman, David Hare, PD James, AL Kennedy all give their top ten tips for writers.
I think this is some of the best advice around.

Good link this one. I remember when it appeared in the paper so I looked online so I could get a link and keep it that way. Some good tips.

Yes! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I found it really valuable also. When you’re in the forward struggle years it’s great to see end of rainbow stuff like this! 🙂
